Meet the girls lacrosse coaches
Coach Jack McIlvain - Varsity Head Coach
Coach Mac believes that coaching is a great way to positively impact the lives of his students and players. He started coaching while working for the Bay Village, Ohio Parks and Recreation during high school and college and has coached just about everything from T-ball to soccer. Coach Mac even spent a winter teaching skiing in Colorado. His lacrosse experience started in college where Coach Mac played two years of club lacrosse at Miami University of Ohio, and quickly fell in love with the game. He had to rely on fitness and hard work to gain playing time and learned that these qualities, along with focusing on the basics, are the foundation for the success of any team. Coach Mac is very excited to be part of the team that is building Chattahoochee Lacrosse into one of the best programs in the South! A native of Bay Village, Ohio, Coach McIlvain has lived in Alpharetta for the past ten years. He is married and has two children, an 9-year-old daughter, Ella, and a son, Jake who is 6. He currently teaches 7th grade Social Studies at Taylor Road Middle School. This is Coach Mac’s fourth season with the Girls Hooch Lacrosse Team!

Coach Jillian DiFazio - Varsity Coach
This is Coach DiFazio’s third year with the Girls Hooch Lacrosse Program. Coach DiFazio grew up in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Georgia in 1993. She played field hockey and lacrosse from middle school on through college. Coach DiFazio attended Randolph-Macon College. After college, she traveled to Australia and played lacrosse for the Glenelg Lacrosse club in Adelaide. She has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and taught first grade and Reading Recovery for Fulton County. In 1998, she and her husband moved abroad to London for a year. They have 2 children, Sarah (8 1/2) and Ryan (7). She previously coached lacrosse at Swarthmore College (PA), North Springs High School and Northview High School.

Coach Dennis Fink - Varsity Coach
Last year Coach Dennis Fink joined our staff of Girls Lacrosse Coaches at CHS.He grew up playing lacrosse in Pennsylvania and was an All-American lacrosse player at Drexel University. He brings over 30 years of lacrosse coaching experience at the collegiate, high school and youth levels to our Hooch girls' lacrosse program. Coach Fink coached girls lacrosse at the youth level for the past five seasons with Alpharetta Parks & Rec and Junior Cougars girls' lacrosse. Coach Fink is the senior vice president of finance for Filtrona Extrusions based in Atlanta. He and his wife, Dee, have two sons: Erik, a former lacrosse player, and Jesse, who graduated from CHS in 2005 and was a member of the CHS boys' lacrosse team. They also have a daughter, Maddie who is a junior at Chattahoochee and is currently a member of the Hooch girls' lacrosse team.
